[IMPORTANT] SiteFrost.com Services Changes (October 25, 2010)
Dear Members,
As you are aware SiteFrost has been serving you, our members, for nearly 3 years by providing free web hosting and support.
Although we have enjoyed providing this service we regret to inform you that we will no longer be able to continue offering free web hosting. Instead SiteFrost will become a valuable resource providing information, opinions and reviews on free web hosting services offered by the many website hosts currently available. We will also become a focal point where you can ask for assistance from other members on which website host would be suitable for your needs.
SiteFrost is NOT closing down. We're transforming into something new. The forum will NOT be taken down.
This also means that any web hosting provider can advertise its services on SiteFrost (here, more sections to come), as long as they follow the new rules. The rules have been updated and can be viewed here. Additional rules can be found inside the respective forums.
We are aware that you will be concerned about your current hosting account. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we are on a limited timescale and are only able to keep your account active for the next 31 days. We believe this timescale is sufficient for you to source a new host provider and transfer your website.
Our schedule is as follows:
25 November 2010 - All accounts will be suspended.
30 November 2010 - All accounts will be deleted off the servers.
For members with current hosting on SiteFrost you can take a full backup of your website by doing the following:
Login to cPanel
Select Backup Wizard
Select Full Backup
Transferring Your Hosting Account:
Due to the variety of ways which other web hosts have setup their servers, we are unable to provide support related to transferring your website to another web host. You will need to ask your new web hosting provider for assistance on transferring your website.

We have taken into consideration suspended and pending accounts, which will be dealt with as follows.
Suspended Accounts:
If your account was previously suspended due to any of the reasons listed on our 'Suspension Periods' page ( http://sitefrost.com/pages.php?page=suspension ), your account will remain suspended for the period listed on the page. You may request for reactivation only after your suspension period ended.
Accounts which was suspended for hosting any pornography, rapidleech (or a similar) script, fraud, phishing, or spamming related websites and/or for hacking or performing illegal activities (including hosting warez sites) MAY NOT request reactivation
Pending Accounts:
All pending hosting account applications will be cancelled. We trust you will find the requirements and support you need to find a new website host provider through our new service here. (link here)
ForumFrost
Unfortunately the cessation of SiteFrost, as a website host provider, also entails the cessation of ForumFrost. ForumFrost will no longer be able to offer its free MyBB forum hosting. If you currently have a forum created, you may request a free database backup by making a request at http://forumfrost.com/forumdisplay.php?fid=4, before November 25th, 2010.
Paid Points
Finally, SiteFrost will be providing refunds for unused purchased points. Refunds will be issued to the PayPal account used to purchase the points. All refunds will be processed between November 30th, 2010 and December 30th, 2010.
Point-Check
On the November 1st, 2010, accounts that do not have the required points will still be suspended - this process will run normally like the previous months.
It is with deep regret that SiteFrost is closing its doors as a website host provider. We have enjoyed providing this service, to our members, for the last three years. We thank each and every one of you for continually supporting us during this time.
